The Discover Double Bass Lessons Guide is a digital eBook which includes full musical notation and written action plans that accompany my free video lessons (L#1-80). As a bonus, I have also included the backing tracks used in these lessons, access to an exclusive members-only study group, and a mini course on establishing an effective practice routine.

What's in the Guide?

It’s 225 pages long and contains detailed transcriptions of the music played in my free video lessons (L#1-80). This includes scales, arpeggios and fully notated transcriptions of my improvised solos. There are also written ‘Action Steps’ to give you direction on how to practise the material in my video lessons, as well as suggestions for further study.

Check out a free preview chapter in the lessons index below.

How can it help me?

Using the guide alongside my free video lessons will show you exactly what I’m playing and explain how you should be practising. The Lessons Guide also includes an index of the lessons on DiscoverDoubleBass.com to help you move through them in the best possible way. It removes any guess work and helps you get the most from your practice time.

What happens when new videos are released?

As I publish regular free lessons on DiscoverDoubleBass.com the Lessons Guide needs updating periodically to cover the most recent videos. To do this I publish a new edition a couple of times a year. Until there is an increase in the price of the Guide these updates will be free for previous buyers.

What if I have questions?

Below each video there's a comments section where you can ask questions about the lessons and get feedback from Geoff.

I’ve also created the ‘Discover Double Bass Study Group’ so you can ask me questions and get the help you need. It’s a ‘closed’ Facebook group in which only bassists who have taken a course, can ask questions or view the discussion. It’s a private community of like minded double bassists who are looking to develop their playing. If you need help along the way, we will be there to get you back on track!

The Bonuses:

All of the backing tracks used in lessons L#1-80 are included. I have also put together a mini course showing you how, and what to practice. It contains two videos which are in total 30 minutes long, as well as a written guide to show you what you should be practising and how to get the most from your time.
